The NSPCC Treetops Project Appeal

The NSPCC charity TreeTops project has been running for over 20 years now, providing therapeutic services for children who have suffered abuse, particularly sexual abuse. Through play therapy with special toys, the staff at Treetops can help children to come to terms with their experiences.

Children often find it hard to talk about their feelings when they first arrive at TreeTops, but through the use of special toys children can express their emotions without words. Nearly all children who are victims of abuse blame themselves for what’s happened to them, but through play therapy children can learn to overcome feelings of low self-esteem, anger and rejection.

Without services like TreeTops, some abused children would be unable to come to terms with their experiences and move on with their lives.

Help the NSPCC this Christmas with a Charity Gift

You can also help raise funds with the NSPCC Letter from Santa, where you can purchase a personalised letter from Santa himself by making a donation of £5 or more. This will not only bring joy to children you know, but you’ll also be helping the NSPCC bring an end to cruelty to children.
