Where Does Your Money Go?

Wish List gifts really do make a difference to children’s lives. Each gift featured on the Wish List range belongs to a theme covering a different area of Save the Children’s work.

When you buy a gift, your money will contribute to projects related to the gift theme. For example, if you buy a present in the education category (eg a school bag kit) the money will always be spent on Save the Children’s education programmes, but not always on that specific item.

If you also add a donation or tick the Gift Aid box, your additional support will help to fund Save the Children's work wherever the need is greatest.

  • What are the postal delivery charges for Wish List items?
    Free Royal Mail second-class delivery is included in the cost of your purchase. For last-minute present solutions, you can choose the 'next day' delivery 'signed for' service (Monday – Friday), which costs £3.60. Just select this option as the delivery method at checkout stage.

  • Can the Wish List cards be sent directly to the recipient on my behalf?
    When you order online, you can personalise your gift card and also choose which address to send it to. You can choose to send the cards to your friend's address directly and they will receive a gift envelope with a gift poster and your card personalised with your name and message. You can also choose to send your recipient an e-card by email, which will include a link to a gift poster that they can download and print themselves.

  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    Most orders are dispatched within two to five working days. Once your order has been dispatched it takes two to three days to be delivered to UK addresses, about a week to be delivered to European addresses and approximately two or three weeks for all other countries.
