In African countries where rain is scarce, poor communities face a constant battle to find enough clean water to survive. Women and children are often forced to walk many miles to collect water from the nearest source, while the men try to earn a living.
FARM-Africa can provide the training that enables a farmer to safely dig a shallow well. This will provide his family with a long-term source of clean water, keeping his children healthy and helping him to grow more crops to eat and sell.
